healthebrands is an innovative line of food products from one of Canada’s oldest and most trusted natural vitamin producers.
the challenge // launch a new product line in the highly competitive market of “natural foods” with the popular appeal of mainstream grocery items. Unlike other products with similar claims, healthebrand products are made of all natural ingredients and are actually healthy for you: healthesweet has no calories and no aftertaste yet measures and tastes like sugar; healthesalt shakes and measures like table salt but with half the sodium; and healtheoil has half the fat of traditional oils. Add to that, “healthebrands” is pronounced “healthy brands”.
our solution // working with ThinkMitchThink (a Toronto marketing firm), a key message was developed that was not so much about the products being healthy, but that they tasted great to even the most discriminating palette—elegant, tasteful and fun. Translating that message to the visual, we matched elegant photography and colour palette with a fun “smiling” logo. MGD designed the logos, retail packages, style guide for future products, POS brochure and website.
